I freely admit to being one of the many people obsessed with the Montauk Monster. I'm pretty sure I don't even care if it's real or not. I'm just enjoying the debate, and the fact that kind of credible news agencies are even getting into it. And, okay, maybe I'm a little creeped out because I live kinda close to Plum Island. Anyway, here's a round-up of some of the coverage I have found:
1. Gawker has been at the forefront of all this coverage.Here is where you can find all of their "Monty" posts.
2.You know it's real news if it's on FOXNews.
3. The monster has even inspired a beverage company to offer a reward for its slaughter. (I have to admit: I kind of REALLY want one of those t-shirts.)
4. Another blog just seems to be trying to summarize any information they can find.
5. One of my personal favorites so far: Garfield minus Garfield minus Jon plus Montauk Monster.
6. And finally, the TOTALLY FAKE picture, supposedly taken from another angle. Who do you think you're fooling?
